Pirates appoint Jamie Lane as General Manager

The Picton Pirates are proud to announce the appointment of Jamie Lane as General Manager and Head Coach, effective immediately.

Lane has a strong background in hockey operations, leadership, and player development, and is poised to guide the Pirates into a new era of success both on and off the ice.
His deep understanding of the game and passion for fostering young talent will play a crucial role in advancing the organization. “We are thrilled to welcome Jamie back to the Pirates as the Head Coach, and now, General Manager,” says Chris Rice, Picton Pirates Director of Hockey Operations. “Jamie’s vision and commitment to excellence align perfectly with the values and direction of this team. We’re excited for what the future holds under his leadership.”

As Head Coach and GM, Lane will oversee player recruitment, development, and team strategy. Lane’s focus will be on building a competitive, disciplined, and community-driven program that Pirates players and fans can be proud of.
