On November 2, the PJHL hosted two top prospects games that highlighted the highlighted and showcased some of the brightest upcoming stars within the province. The Western Conference-North Conference game took place in North Middlesex. The Eastern Conference-Southern Conference game (which the Picton Pirates are part of) was hosted in Wellesley by the Applejacks at the Wellesley Community Centre.
We were pleased to have three of our players selected to the roster this year. Both Kaleb Baldwin & Keagen Carr participated in the game and represented the Pirates, while forward Trevor Brooks was selected but unable to participate.
The game was a tightly contested affair that saw the South Conference edge out the East Conference 3-2 in a game where the East peppered the South goal, but were unable to break through. Congratulations to Kaleb, Keagen and Trevor on a massive honour and representing our team in front of the rest of the league. Well done, gentlemen!
